A team of experienced and expert gastroenterologists are available for consultations and follow up care. One time second opinions as well as ongoing care can be provided at TIDHI. All clinic appointments and follow up visits are covered by Ontario Health Insurance (OHIP). New patients who need to see a physician require a referral.

​Our Institute is focussed on patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. We also see patients with other digestive conditions who require endoscopic assessment for colon cancer screening or symptoms.

We are committed to trying to see patients as quickly as possible if the referral request indicates urgency.
